Ingredients for - Chicken Sub

1. 12 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips -
2. 1 envelope Parmesan Italian or Caesar salad dressing mix -
3. 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms -
4. 1/2 cup sliced red onion -
5. 1/4 cup olive oil -
6. 4 submarine buns, split and toasted -
7. 4 slices Swiss cheese -

How to cook deliciously - Chicken Sub

1. Stage

Place the chicken in a large bowl, and sprinkle it with the salad dressing mix.

2. Stage

In a large skillet, saute the mushrooms and onion in oil for three minutes. Add the chicken, and saute for six minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink.

3. Stage

Spoon the chicken mixture onto the bun bottoms, then top it with the cheese. Broil the sandwiches 4 inches from the heat for four minutes or until the cheese is melted. Replace the sandwich tops. Editor's Tip: Watch the sandwiches closely under the broiler! Some get very hot even on the low setting, and it's easy to go from melted to burnt.
