1. 2 teaspoons cornstarch -
2. 1/2 cup fat-free milk -
3. 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 ounces each) -
4. 1 tablespoon olive oil -
5. 1 tablespoon butter -
6. 1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms -
7. 1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced -
8. 1/4 cup sherry or chicken broth -
9. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
10. 1/8 teaspoon pepper -

How to cook deliciously - Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

1. Stage

In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch and milk until smooth. Pound the chicken with a meat mallet to 1/4-inch thickness.

2. Stage

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken for five to six minutes per side or until no longer pink. Remove to a plate.

3. Stage

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Saute the mushrooms and onions until tender. Add the sherry, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and return to a boil, stirring for one to two minutes until thickened. Add the chicken back to the pan and heat through.
