How to cook deliciously - Cinnamon Apple Crumb Pie

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 450°. Unroll crust into a 9-in. pie plate; flute edge. Pour pie filling into crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Melt remaining 3 tablespoons butter. Place cookie crumbs in a small bowl; stir in melted butter until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle over filling. Cover edge of crust loosely with foil.

2. Stage

Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce oven setting to 350°; remove foil and bake until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly, 40-45 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours.
