Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 cups milk

  • 5 ½ tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 ½ teaspoons chicken bouillon granules

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Combine chicken broth, milk, cornstarch, chicken bouillon, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 10 minutes.

  2. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature, about 2 hours.

  3. Transfer to resealable freezer bags. Keep in the freezer to use when needed.
