This easy, delicious strawberry-pineapple smoothie recipe was a gigantic hit in my 8-year-old daughter's class demonstration. It's a healthy, filling snack for all ages.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • ¾ cup pineapple juice

  • ¾ cup milk

  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1 teaspoon wheat germ

  • 6 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Combine strawberries, pineapple juice, milk, yogurt, sugar, and wheat germ in a blender; add ice. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the jar as needed.

  2. Pour into glasses; serve immediately.
