Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings

  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 1 pound potatoes, cut into small chunks

  • 2 tablespoons beef bouillon

  • water to cover

Directions

  1. Heat a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.

  2. Add potatoes and bouillon; pour in just enough water to cover potatoes. Cover saucepan, reduce heat to low, and simmer until potatoes are tender and water has been absorbed, about 30 minutes.
