2 cloves garlic, chopped

3 hot chile peppers, sliced

1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-size pieces

1 ½ teaspoons white sugar

1 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

5 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 cup chopped onions

1 bunch fresh basil leaves
Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and chile peppers and cook until fragrant and just beginning to brown. Add chicken, sugar, garlic salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, but not cooked through.

Add oyster sauce, mushrooms, and onions. Continue cooking until onions are tender and chicken juices run clear. Remove from heat, and mix in basil. Let sit 2 minutes before serving.
