Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 1 servings

  • 2 stalks celery

  • ½ cup baby carrots

  • 1 ½ cups cold water, or to taste

  • ½ cup fresh spinach

  • 1 medium apple - peeled, cored, and sliced

  • ½ medium lemon, juiced

  • 2 small sliced fresh strawberries

Directions

  1. Place celery and carrots in a pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and transfer to a blender.

  2. Add water, spinach, apple, lemon juice, and strawberries; blend until smooth with only small chunks remaining, 2 to 3 minutes. Strain into a cup.

Cook's Note:

You can strain twice if desired.
