Hot Nutty Irish Coffee

This hot, nutty Irish coffee is a great after-dinner coffee. I like to add a mixture of cinnamon and sugar to the rim before I make it. I sometimes use green sugar. Enjoy!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 1 servings

  • ½ tablespoon white sugar, or as needed

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, or as needed

  • 1 fluid ounce Irish cream liqueur (such as Baileys)

  • 1 fluid ounce hazelnut liqueur (such as Frangelico)

  • ¾ cup brewed coffee, or more to taste

  • 1 tablespoon whipped cream, or to taste

Directions

  1. Combine sugar and cinnamon on a flat dish. Moisten rim of a mug; dip into cinnamon-sugar.

  2. Add Irish cream and hazelnut liqueur to the mug. Pour in coffee. Top coffee with whipped cream; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Cook's Note:

Start with a fresh pot of coffee. I use Columbian whole bean. You can use any brand of coffee as long as it's fresh.
