Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 2 large Bosc pears, quartered and sliced 1/4-inch thick

  • 2 tablespoons sweetened dried cranberries

  • 2 tablespoons pepitas (shelled green pumpkin seeds)

  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Melt butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Arrange pear slices on a microwave-safe baking dish. Pour butter mixture over pears, cover, and microwave until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in cranberries, pepitas, and walnuts.
