  • 5 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed and quartered

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 1 tablespoon salted butter

  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and transfer to a bowl.

  3. While potatoes are still hot and steaming, add cream cheese, milk, butter, and salt.
