A twist on the traditional sweet and spicy sauce. Add to pork, chicken, or tofu as a sauce or brush on while cooking for a glaze. Can be made vegan and/or gluten free. My kids and husband all love this!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 20 servings

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 ½ cups maple syrup

  • ¾ cup sriracha sauce

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add maple syrup, sriracha, and soy sauce; whisk together until blended. Simmer until flavors combine, about 10 minutes.

Recipe Tip

Substitute coconut oil for the butter, and use tamari (gluten-free soy sauce) if preferred.
