Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

  • 1 cup raisins

  • ¼ teaspoon grated lemon zest

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 ½ cups water

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, cornstarch and mustard powder. Slowly stir in vinegar, then add raisins, lemon zest, lemon juice and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil.
