Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings

  • 6 medium ripe pears

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ½ cup powdered sugar, or to taste

  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Slice pears in half and remove seeds with a melon baller. Cut into 1/8-inch slices (if pears are firm) or 1/4-inch slices (if pears are softer).

  2. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, and cinnamon in a stand mixer; beat until smooth and creamy. Serve alongside pear slices.

Cook's Notes:

This is best made the night before, but is still delicious same day.

You can use Neufchatel cheese for cream cheese, and nonfat sour cream for regular. If using full fat versions of cream cheese and sour cream, I find it needs a bit more powdered sugar.
