Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 10 servings

  • 1 nonstick cooking spray

  • 3 cups white sugar

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 6 large eggs

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Spray a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®) with cooking spray. Place oven rack on the lowest level.

  2. Beat sugar, butter, and cream cheese together until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth.

  3. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl and stir into the batter. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour into the prepared pan.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
