Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 24 servings

  • 5 ounces 85% dark chocolate, chopped

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon

  • 1 ¾ cups white sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 ½ tablespoons vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

  • ½ cup peanut butter chips

  • ½ cup white chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Combine dark chocolate and 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon butter in a medium, oven-safe bowl.

  3. Place the bowl in the preheated oven until chocolate and butter are melted, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes.

  4. Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon together in a separate bowl.

  5. Add sugar to the cooled chocolate mixture. Whisk in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla extract and whisk until combined. Fold into the flour mixture until incorporated. Stir in peanut butter, peanut butter chips, and white chocolate chips.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs but not wet batter, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack for 20 to 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
