Ingredients
- 2 red Thai chiles or 1 medium jalapeño
- 2 medium garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Asian fish sauce
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions
- Step 1In a mortar, pound the chiles, garlic and sugar to a paste. Stir in the fish sauce, lime juice and water.
- Step 2Make Ahead: The sauce can be refrigerated overnight.
