Extremely versatile and simple to make, tzatziki is the one-stop condiment I always keep in my fridge—just in case. There’s very little that this creamy cucumber and yogurt dip doesn’t improve, whether you’re going traditional and serving it with kebabs, adding a dollop onto your salmon dinner, or eating it plain with pita and veggies as the ultimate last-minute party dip. Only requiring mixing a handful of ingredients, it’s truly worth it to make this fresh dip at home.
What People Are Saying:
“ABSOLUTELY THE BEST TZATZIKI!! I’ve made tzatziki many times always from different recipes because I couldn’t find one I LOVED. This is that one! I’ll make it many more times!” - ske321
Tzatziki really is so easy to make. Simply combine greek yogurt, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl and stir to mix, then add in the chopped cucumber, garlic, dill, and seasonings, and stir again to combine. Then adjust the seasonings to taste.
Serve the finished dip alongside, pita, vegetables, or whatever pairing you have chosen.

One of my favorite things about tzatziki is how versatile it is. It can be the easiest party dip, an afternoon snack, or a condiment to top any dinner with. Serve it alongside pita and fresh vegetables, on top of chicken shawarma, on a dip tray with our hummus and skordalia dip, over homemade falafel or a Gyro sandwich, or drizzled over our Greek salmon salad or grilled vegetables.
Your homemade tzatziki will last for up to 4 days in the fridge when properly stored in an airtight container.
