Looking to kick your mac and cheese up a notch? Try stuffing it into jalapeños! Our love for jalapeño poppers knows no end so we took inspo from our classic poppers and stuffed them with mac and cheese. We opted for box, but if you want to make a batch of your favorite mac and cheese go for it! The cheesier the better. Just don't forget the bacon!

Ingredients

(7.25-oz.) package store-bought macaroni and cheese, plus ingredients on box
- 3/4 cup
shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup
shredded Monterey jack cheese
- 10
jalapeños
- 4
slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2
green onions, thinly sliced
Directions
- Step 1Preheat oven to 400°. In a medium saucepan, cook mac and cheese according to package instructions. Remove from heat and scrape into a medium heatproof bowl. Let cool 5 minutes. Stir in cheddar and monterey jack until evenly distributed, but not melted.
- Step 2Halve jalapeños lengthwise, then use a spoon to remove seeds and veins. Fill with mac and cheese.
- Step 3Place on a baking sheet and bake until peppers are tender, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle the cooked bacon over top, sprinkle with green onions, and serve warm.
