Bacon Bourbon Jell-O Shots

The jell-o shots are phenomenal, but be sure to REALLY pat your perfectly cooked bacon dry with paper towels. Otherwise the fat will leak into the jell-o shots while they set and they won't be so picturesque.

Ingredients
- 2 (0.25-oz.) packages
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 4 strips cooked bacon, patted dry
Directions
- Step 1In a large bowl or liquid measuring cup, sprinkle gelatin over bourbon and let bloom 5 minutes.
- Step 2In a small saucepan over medium heat bring apple juice and sugar to a boil. Whisk boiling apple juice into gelatin mixture.
- Step 3Cut bacon slices into thirds and place each third into shot glasses then pour jell-o mixture in.
- Step 4Refrigerate until set, 2 hours.
