They’re so simple to make, and are sure to be the cutest addition to your holiday table. Here’s everything you need to know:
Decorating an Oreo turkey:
Decorating an Oreo to look like a turkey is much easier than it seems. Candy corn, red food coloring, candy eyes, and butterscotch chips are all you need to turn these Oreos into the cutest Thanksgiving treat. That being said, feel free to get creative with it! Don’t have candy eyes? Use Reese’s Pieces or chocolate chips instead. We use melted white chocolate not only to ensure that our decorations stay on our Oreos, but also to create the gobbler. White chocolate hardens quickly, so make sure to have everything else ready to go when you start melting your chocolate.

These simple Oreo turkeys are the dessert we turn to when we need a cute, last-minute holiday treat, but they aren’t your only option. For our Oreo haters: our pumpkin pie turkeys (made with a store-bought or homemade pumpkin pie) and turkey cupcakes are also so easy to make. Feeling ambitious? Our turkey cake is a Thanksgiving show-stopper.
