Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 4 eggs

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients. 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.

  2. Mix 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons flour and baking powder together in a large bowl.

  3. Combine sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and melted butter in a medium bowl; add to flour mixture and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

  4. Pour cake batter into the prepared pan.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes; cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Run a knife around the edges to loosen; invert cake carefully onto a serving plate to cool completely.

  6. Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
