Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 36 servings

  • 2 ½ cups crushed vanilla wafers

  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar, plus more for rolling

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

  • ¼ cup rum

  • 3 tablespoons dark corn syrup

Directions

  1. Combine vanilla wafers, 1 cup confectioners' sugar, and cocoa powder in a medium bowl. Stir in walnuts, rum, and corn syrup until well blended.

  2. Form dough into 2-inch balls; roll in confectioners' sugar. Store in a covered tin.
