Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 16 servings

  • ½ cup chopped Maui or other sweet onion

  • 1 clove garlic

  • ¼ cup papaya seeds

  • cup white sugar

  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard

  • ¼ cup lemon juice

  • cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine the onion, garlic and papaya seeds in the container of a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add the sugar, mustard, lemon juice, vinegar and mayonnaise; puree until blended in. Set to low speed and pour in the vegetable oil in a thin stream. Chill and serve with fresh salad greens.
