How to cook deliciously - Groot Galaxy Cups

1. Stage

Make the cookies: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Set aside.

Using an electric mixer, beat peanut butter, butter and sugars until fully combined, about 2 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla, then gradually add in flour mixture.

Roll out dough so it’s 1/4-inch thick. Use a paring knife to cut out Groot shapes, tracing around the cutout from the printable stencil above (or freehand it). Use the tine of a fork or a toothpick to etch lines along the cookie to emulate Groot’s vine-like body.

Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the freezer for 30 minutes to prevent spreading.

Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden. Use black gel frosting to draw on eyes.

Let cool completely, then use green gel frosting to highlight around baby Groot’s hairline.
