Ingredients for - Honeycomb Sazerac

1. Ice -
2. 6 dashes bitters -
3. 1 tbsp. honey, room temperature -
4. 3 oz. Bulleit Rye -
5. 3 oz. cognac -
6. Splash absinthe, for rinsing -
7. 2 lemon peels, for garnish -
8. 2 small cubes honeycomb, for garnish -

How to cook deliciously - Honeycomb Sazerac

1. Stage

Fill 2 glasses with ice and place in the freezer until chilled, at least 10 minutes. 

2. Stage

Add bitters and honey to a cocktail shaker. Stir until honey is dissolved. Add whiskey and cognac and fill with ice. Stir vigorously until well-chilled, 30-45 seconds. 

3. Stage

Discard ice from glasses. Add absinthe to chilled glass and swirl around glass, then discard liquid.

4. Stage

Strain mixture into glasses, dividing equally. Garnish with a lemon peel and honeycomb.
