1. 1 large egg, lightly beaten -
2. 1/3 cup evaporated milk -
3. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce -
4. 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats -
5. 1/4 cup chopped onion -
6. 1 teaspoon salt -
7. 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage -
8. 1/8 teaspoon pepper -
9. 1-1/2 pounds ground beef -
10. 1/4 cup ketchup -

How to cook deliciously - Meat Loaf with Oatmeal

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, stir together the egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, oats, onion, salt, sage and pepper. Crumble the beef over the mixture. Mix until combined. Press the mixture into an ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan.

2. Stage

Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove from the oven. Drain any liquid. Spread the ketchup over the loaf. Return to the oven, and bake for about 10 minutes longer, until the meat is no longer pink and a thermometer inserted into the thickest portion of the loaf reads 160°. Let stand for 10 minutes. Slice and serve your delicious meat loaf with oatmeal.
