Ingredients for - Ham & cheese croissants
1. 2 large croissants -
2. chutney of your choice (optional) -
3. 50g thinly sliced or shredded ham -
4. 50g gruyère , thinly sliced or grated, plus extra grated cheese for the tops -
5. wholegrain or Dijon mustard , for spreading -
How to cook deliciously - Ham & cheese croissants
1. Stage
Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Split the croissants through the middle, being careful not to cut all the way through, and put on a baking sheet. Spread chutney over the bases, then top with the ham and cheese.
2. Stage
Close the croissants and spread a little mustard over the tops. Scatter over the grated cheese and some black pepper, if you like. Bake for 8-10 mins until the cheese has melted. Cool for 1-2 mins, then serve.
