Ingredients for - Mediterranean savoury G&T
1. 2cm ginger -
2. 8-9 ripe cherry tomatoes -
3. 100ml Mediterranean gin (we used Gin Mare) -
4. 200ml Mediterranean tonic (we used 1724) -
5. arbequina (or another good quality extra virgin olive oil) -
How to cook deliciously - Mediterranean savoury G&T
1. Stage
Finely grate 2cm ginger into a cocktail shaker, add 7-8 ripe cherry tomatoes and crush well with a muddler. Fill up with ice and 100ml Mediterranean gin. Shake well, then double strain into two glasses. Top with more ice and 200ml Mediterranean tonic. Garnish each glass with a halved cherry tomato on a cocktail stick. Add a few drops of arbequina or another good quality extra virgin olive oil just before serving.
