Ingredients for - Rooibos & pear tea
1. 1 ripe pear , sliced -
2. ½ a cinnamon stick -
3. 2 tsp rooibos leaf tea -
How to cook deliciously - Rooibos & pear tea
1. Stage
Put the pear slices into a large saucepan and add 600ml water and the piece of cinnamon stick – keep a slice or 2 of pear back to use as decoration later if you like. Bring to a simmer, then cook the pear slices for 5-6 mins or until softening.
2. Stage
Take the pan off the heat and add the rooibos tea.
3. Stage
Let the mixture steep for 2-3 mins then strain into a warm teapot to serve, garnished with extra pear slices if you like.
