Ingredients for - Vieux Carré

1. 1 ounce rye -
2. 1 ounce cognac VSOP -
3. 3/4 ounce Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth (or sweet vermouth) -
4. 1/4 ounce Benedictine -
5. 1 dash Angostura bitters -
6. 1 dash Peychaud’s bitters -
7. Lemon twist to garnish -

How to cook deliciously - Vieux Carré

1. Stage

Combine: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass half-filled with ice, and stir until chilled.

2. Stage

Strain: Strain and pour over ice in a rocks or Old-Fashioned glass.

3. Stage

Garnish: Garnish with a lemon or orange twist.
