Ingredients for - Vieux Carré

1. 1 ounce rye
2. 1 ounce cognac VSOP
3. 3/4 ounce Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth (or sweet vermouth)
4. 1/4 ounce Benedictine
5. 1 dash Angostura bitters
6. 1 dash Peychaud’s bitters
7. Lemon twist to garnish

How to cook deliciously - Vieux Carré

1 . Stage

Combine: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass half-filled with ice, and stir until chilled.

2 . Stage

Strain: Strain and pour over ice in a rocks or Old-Fashioned glass.

3 . Stage

Garnish: Garnish with a lemon or orange twist.
