Ingredients for - Cucumber martinis

1. 50ml sugar syrup (buy ready-made, or make your own - see tip, below)
2. 10 thin slices cucumber , plus 4 ribbons sliced with a vegetable peeler
3. large bunch mint , stems removed
4. 1 tbsp dry vermouth
5. 150ml gin

How to cook deliciously - Cucumber martinis

1 . Stage

Chill two martini glasses. Put all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker or jug (except the cucumber ribbons), along with a handful of ice. Shake or mix well to combine, then strain the liquid into the glasses. Garnish with the cucumber ribbons, bunched up and threaded onto a cocktail stick.
