Ingredients for - Grilled Mango With Blue Cheese, Pecans & Honey
1. 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for grates -
2. 4 large ripe mangos -
3. 3/4 c. Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese -
4. 1/3 c. toasted pecans, chopped -
5. 1/4 c. honey -
6. 8 small basil leaves -
How to cook deliciously - Grilled Mango With Blue Cheese, Pecans & Honey
1. Stage
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Oil the grates.
2. Stage
Using a chef’s knife, cut off two cheeks of mango on either side of the seed. The center part of mango can be reserved for another use.
3. Stage
Brush cut side of mango cheeks with oil and grill cut-side down, until soft, about 4 minutes. Flip skin-side down and grill until bottom is just cooked, about 4 minutes more
4. Stage
Remove mango from grill and arrange on a plate or platter cut side up. Sprinkle each with Treasure Cave® Crumbled Blue Cheese and pecans and drizzle with honey. Garnish each piece with a basil leaf.
