Ingredients for - Matzo Pizza
1. 2 sheets salted matzo -
2. 1 1/3 c. shredded low-moisture mozzarella, divided -
3. 1/2 c. vodka sauce or tomato sauce -
4. 12 thin slices jalapeño -
5. Grated Parmesan and fresh basil, for topping -
6. Hot honey, for drizzling (optional) -
How to cook deliciously - Matzo Pizza
1. Stage
Place a rack in center of oven; preheat to 450°. Arrange matzo sheets on a baking sheet. Top each with 1/3 cup mozzarella.
2. Stage
Bake pizzas just until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.
3. Stage
Spoon 3-4 tablespoons sauce on each pie. Sprinkle with another 1/3 cup mozzarella. Top with jalapeño.
4. Stage
Continue to bake pizzas until mozzarella is melted, 2 to 3 minutes more. If desired, heat broiler and broil pizzas, watching closely, until mozzarella slightly browns, about 1 minute more.
5. Stage
Top pizzas with Parmesan and basil. Drizzle with hot honey (if using).
