Ingredients for - Cinnamon-stewed apple

1. 5 sweet eating apples (about 600g), such as Gala or Fuji, peeled, cored and chopped -
2. ¼ tsp ground cinnamon -
3. 50g raisins -
4. 150g fat-free Greek or non-dairy yogurt, to serve -
5. 4 tsp maple syrup (optional) -

How to cook deliciously - Cinnamon-stewed apple

1. Stage

Put the apples in a saucepan with the cinnamon, raisins and 2 tbsp water. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 10-15 mins until the apples are very soft.

2. Stage

Spoon the stewed apples into bowls, and serve with a dollop of the yogurt and a drizzle of maple syrup, if you like. Will keep chilled in an airtight container for up to three days.
