1. 2 slices thick-cut bacon, cut into 1” pieces -
2. 2 cloves garlic, smashed -
3. 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved -
4. 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, plus more for serving -
5. 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika, plus more for serving -
6. 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, plus more for serving -
7. 1/4 c. Truvia Sweet Complete Brown Sweetener -
8. 1 tbsp. bourbon -

How to cook deliciously - Bourbon Bacon Brussels Sprouts

1. Stage

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, 5 to 6 minutes. Transfer bacon to a plate using a slotted spoon. Pour off all but 4 tablespoons bacon fat from the skillet.

2. Stage

Return skillet to medium heat. Add garlic and Brussels sprouts cut-side down. Let cook, undisturbed, until bottoms are golden and edges are crispy, 5 to 6 minutes. Add salt, paprika, and pepper, and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until sprouts are golden all over and tender, 4 to 5 minutes more.

3. Stage

Stir in sweetener and bourbon and cook until thick and syrupy, 2 to 3 minutes. Return bacon to skillet and toss to coat.

Sprinkle with more salt, paprika, and pepper to taste, if desired, and serve.
