Place the cheese, chili con carne and chiles in a saucepan or fondue pot. Heat the mixture over medium-low, stirring frequently, until the cheese melts.

Pour the dip in a decorative bowl, or serve it in the pot. Sprinkle with optional toppings as desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips, pretzels and peppers. Heating the bowl will help the dip stay warmer, longer.
