1 sheet puff pastry or crescent dough

1 11-oz. container guava paste

1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese

2 tbsp. granulated sugar
How to cook deliciously - Pastelitos de Guayaba y Queso
1 . Stage
Preheat oven to 375°. Roll out pastry dough onto a smooth, flat surface. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut dough into 8 triangles.
2 . Stage
At the widest part of the triangle, place ½ to 1 tablespoon each guava paste and cream cheese. Roll dough over filling, forming a crescent.
3 . Stage
Beat egg white until frothy. Using a pastry brush or fingers, lightly coat pastry with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
4 . Stage
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven and place on cooling sheet for 5 minutes. Enjoy warm.
