1. 2 c. unsweetened apple juice or cider -
2. 2 large McIntosh apples -
3. 3/4 c. seedless raisins -
4. 1 cinnamon stick -
5. 1 tbsp. packed light brown sugar -
6. 1 tbsp. Brandy or Rum -

How to cook deliciously - Apple Raisin Soup

1. Stage

In a soup kettle or Dutch oven, combine the apple juice, apples, raisins, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the apples are fork tender.

2. Stage

Remove from heat, stir in the brown sugar and brandy, cover tightly, and chill until ready to serve. Discard the cinnamon stick before serving.
