1. 1 stick butter, salted -
2. 3/4 c. sugar -
3. 1 tsp. vanilla extract -
4. 1 1/2 c. flour -
5. 1 tsp. kosher salt -
6. 1 11-oz. can evaporated milk -
7. 1 c. mini chocolate chips -
8. 1 c. chocolate, melted -
9. 1/2 c. chopped raw walnuts -

How to cook deliciously - Cookie Dough Bars

1. Stage

Make cookie dough: In a stand mixer, beat butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add flour and salt and beat until combined. Add evaporated milk and chocolate chips and stir until combined.

2. Stage

Line an 8-x-8" baking dish with parchment paper so there's an overhang. Add cookie dough and pat into an even layer. Freeze until firm, 1 hour.

3. Stage

Remove cookie dough and pour over melted chocolate, using a spatula to spread it evenly over cookie dough.

4. Stage

Top with walnuts and transfer to the refrigerator until firm, 20 minutes.

5. Stage

Slice into bars and serve.
