Ingredients for - Chestnut hummus

1. 180g vacuum-packed cooked chestnuts
2. 1 lemon, juiced
3. 1 garlic clove
4. 4 tbsp olive oil
5. pitta crisps and vegetable crudités, to serve

How to cook deliciously - Chestnut hummus

1 . Stage

Take one chestnut from the pack and set aside. Tip the rest of the chestnuts into a blender or smoothie maker with the lemon juice, garlic, oil and a little freshly boiled water from the kettle. Season. Blitz to a smooth purée, then spoon into a bowl or spread over four plates.

2 . Stage

Finely grate over the reserved chestnut, then serve with pitta crisps and vegetable crudités.
