1. 8 c. cold water -
2. 8 cardamom pods -
3. 6 whole cloves -
4. 2 cinnamon sticks -
5. 1 star anise pod -
6. 8 ginseng tea bags -
7. 1/4 c. plus 1 tablespoon honey -
8. Ice cubes -

How to cook deliciously - Spiced Ginseng Iced Tea

1. Stage

In a large saucepan, combine the cold water with the cardamom pods, cloves, cinnamon sticks and star anise and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey until it is dissolved. Strain the tea into a pitcher and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled. Serve in tall glasses over ice.
