1. 1 c. (200 g) granulated sugar -
2. 12 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries -
3. 2 tsp. finely grated orange zest -
4. Pinch of kosher salt -

How to cook deliciously - Homemade Cranberry Sauce

1. Stage

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine sugar and 1 cup water, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and mixture is thickened, about 10 minutes.

Stir in orange zest and salt. Let cool.

Make Ahead: Cranberry Sauce can be made 1 week ahead. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.
