Ingredients for - Pâte Brisée

1. 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2. 1 tsp. salt
3. 1 tsp. sugar
4. 8 oz. cold unsalted butter
5. 6 tbsp. ice water

How to cook deliciously - Pâte Brisée

1 . Stage

Pulse flour, salt, and sugar in a food processor until combined. Add butter, and process until mixture resembles coarse meal, about 10 seconds. With the machine running, add ice water in a slow, steady stream until mixture just comes together.

2 . Stage

Divide dough in half; shape each half into a disk. Wrap in plastic, and refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour (or up to 2 days).
