Ingredients for - Pineapple Grilled Cheese

1. 6 slices Canadian bacon -
2. 3 fresh pineapple rings, thinly sliced -
3. 2 1/2 tbsp. butter, divided -
4. 1 tsp. brown sugar -
5. 1 tbsp. soy sauce -
6. 4 slices sourdough bread -
7. 8 slices Havarti -
8. 2 oz. (4 slices) sliced gruyere -

How to cook deliciously - Pineapple Grilled Cheese

1. Stage

Lightly spray skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Fry Canadian bacon, 2 min per side, remove from pan, and set aside. 

2. Stage

Lower heat to medium and melt 1 tablespoon of the butter. Add pineapple and sprinkle sugar and soy sauce on top. Caramelize pineapple, cooking about 4 min per side. Set the pineapple aside and clean pan.

Spread the remaining butter on one side of each slice of sourdough. 

4. Stage

Layer the 2 sandwiches, starting with the butter side down, with 2 slices of Havarti, then 3 slices of bacon, half the gruyere, 1 ½ slices of pineapple, and 2 more slices Havarti. Topped off with the plain side of the remaining slices of bread. 

5. Stage

Heat the pan over medium heat and cook the grilled cheese covered until golden and crispy with melty cheese, about 4 min  side.
