In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring 1/2 cup milk to a boil. Stir in oats, half the strawberries, and salt, then reduce heat to low and simmer until oats are tender and creamy, 5 minutes.
2. Stage
Serve oatmeal in a bowl and pour over remaining 1/4 cup milk. Top with remaining strawberries.
