1. 1/2 cup butter, softened -
2. 3/4 cup sugar -
3. 1 large egg -
4. 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour -
5. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda -
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
7. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon -
8. 2-1/2 cups pitted dates, chopped -
9. 1/2 cup each chopped candied cherries and pineapple -
10. 3/4 cup coarsely chopped Brazil nuts, toasted -
11. 3/4 cup chopped almonds, toasted -

How to cook deliciously - Candied Fruit Cookies

1. Stage

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in fruits and nuts.

2. Stage

Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks.
