1. 2 lb. fresh or frozen, thawed strawberries, halved -
2. 1 c. (200 g.) granulated sugar -
3. 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice -
4. Pinch of kosher salt -

How to cook deliciously - Homemade Strawberry Jam

1. Stage

In a large bowl, smash strawberries with a potato masher until coarsely crushed.

2. Stage

Transfer strawberries to a large pot. Add sugar, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened and bubbles completely cover surface, about 20 minutes. Let cool.

3. Stage

Pour into a jar with a tight-fitting lid and let cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
