How to cook deliciously - Shark Attack Poke Cake

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350º and grease a 9"-x-13” pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, adding a few drops of blue food coloring, and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 25 minutes. Let cool.

2. Stage

Meanwhile, make shark fins: Mix melted white chocolate and a few drops of black food coloring, until correct color is achieved. Transfer to piping bag. Pipe fin shapes onto a small parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the freezer.

3. Stage

Make life preservers: Cut 3-inch-long pieces of fruit roll up and cut those pieces into quarters. Wrap four around each powdered sugar donut and fasten with some marshmallow fluff, if needed.

4. Stage

With the end of a metal spoon, poke holes in the cake all over. In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallow fluff and water. Microwave for 10 seconds on high and mix until fully combined. Pour all over the cake, making sure to fill the poked holes.

5. Stage

In a large bowl, add 5 drops blue food coloring into the whipped topping, folding a few times but not incorporating completely. Frost cake with whipped topping and top with shark fins and life preservers. Serve.
