Ingredients for - Strawberry Crisp
1. 2 lb. fresh strawberries (5 to 6 c.), hulled and quartered -
4. Finely grated zest from 1 lemon -
6. 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted, plus more for pan -
8. 1 c. old-fashioned oats -
10. 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional) -
13. Homemade vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional) -
How to cook deliciously - Strawberry Crisp
1. Stage
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, mix strawberries, cornstarch, granulated sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Transfer to a buttered 2-qt. baking dish or 9" pie dish.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, walnuts, if using, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in melted butter and stir until well coated and crumbly. Sprinkle topping over strawberry mixture. (You may have extra topping if your baking dish is too small, that’s okay! Store in refrigerator and use for another crisp.)

Bake until fruit is bubbling and topping is golden brown, 45 to 50 minutes.
